1. Peer Evaluation
In this lesson, we will use E1-Dib’s (2007) Inventory of Reflective Thinking to assist your reflection on the project report. You will be conducting evaluations of several other students’ project reports. At the same time, there will be other students evaluating your project report. You will not interaction with other student fact-to-face. However, this process gave you a chance to read other students action research reports. By evaluating other students’ project reports, you can learn from their experiences and reflect on your own work. Please grade the report using the provided scale first, and, then extend your evaluation with comments and suggestions.
Don’t limit your comments only to the provided criteria. You can put anything that you think may help your peers to improve their work, such as typos, misuse of APA style, grammar problems, pure writing suggestions, and etc.

Remember, research is essentially collaborative. You and your peers are helping each other by provide honest and constructive criticism. You feedback will be essential to other students as they draw up a plan for revisions. Please do not constrained by the list of criteria and provide as much as elaborated comments as you can. We anticipate this process will adhere to the highest standards of professional communication practices, as we are a community of learners in which respect is an integral component. In other words, be fair, be honest, and be respectful in your review process.
2. Self - Evaluation
While you are evaluating your peers work, consider your own report as one of them. That is to say, you will also evaluate your own project as the way you will evaluate others. We hope this process will help you to take off the “author” hat of your work for a while, and read your report from a more objective angle, the third person view, thus to better reflect your project. (You do not need to submit the self-evaluation assignment.)
3. Reflection Report
Using the feedback you received from others and your self-evaluation, you will now prepare a report summarizing the suggestions and comments from your peers, the comparison of them to your self-evaluation, and outlining the revision you would make to your project “if you would conduct it all-over again.”
In the first part of the report, summarize the score, suggestions, and comments from your peers along with your responses to them. Compared your self-evaluation with the peer evaluation, what are the consistencies and differences? What is your response to their comments? Do you accept them? If yes, how you have revised your report accordingly. If not, why?
In the second part of the report, reflect the entire project. Was your action successful and satisfactory? What would do for the next cycle of action research? What have you learned through conducting the project? What difficulties you have met for conducting this project? What aspects you would like to change for future projects?
Submission Guideline:
1. Your evaluation report should be created in Microsoft Word. At the top of the paper type Action Research Reflection Report. Below that include your name, email address, and the date. When you save the file, name it “Your PID_ AR_reflection”.
